Warning for Jailbreakers
If you have jailbroken your iPad and cannot live without your favorite jailbreak apps and tweaks then it is recommended that you avoid updating to iPadOS, until a jailbreak for iPadOS is released.
You should also check out the new iPadOS 13 features, so you can weigh the pros and cons before deciding to upgrade or not to upgrade to iPadOS. If you still want to upgrade, it is recommended that jailbreakers update your iPad using iTunes.
Backup iPad
It is always a good idea to take a backup of your iPad before updating it with the latest iPadOS software update. (Note that if you choose to encrypt your backup using iTunes, along with normal data, secure information like passwords etc. are also backed up.)
You can back up your iPad using iTunes or iCloud. If you need help, follow our step-by-step guide by clicking on the appropriate link below.
How to backup using iCloud
How to backup using iTunes
Note: Since this is a major software update, I would strongly recommend taking an iTunes backup so you have the option to restore back with iOS 12 compatible backup data.
How to Download and Install iPadOS on Your iPad Wirelessly Over the Air (OTA)
Before you start the download, connect your device to a power source so that the battery doesn’t drain during the update process. It can take anywhere from a few mins to an hour for the update to download and install, depending on how Apple’s servers are handling the load and your internet connection. You may also want to connect your iPad to your local Wi-Fi network, so you don’t get charged for downloading the update over your cellular connection.
STEP 1: Once you are plugged in and connected via Wi-Fi, open the Settings app and tap on General > Software Update. iPad will automatically check for available updates and will inform you that iPadOS software update is available.
Note: If you’re interested in jailbreaking then you should install the update using iTunes, as OTA updates are known to give problems while jailbreaking.
STEP 2: You will be presented with a screen which provides the details about all the new features and improvements in iPadOS. Tap Download and Install to download iPadOS update and install it on your iPad.
If you get tired of waiting for the download to finish (it could take a while) then go do something else. Your iPad will continue to download the update and will send you a notification when the update is ready. Go back to Settings > General > Software Update and then tap Install Now to install iPadOS on your iPad.
How to Download & Install iPadOS on Your iPad Using iTunes
If you’re not getting the iPadOS software update via over-the-air (OTA) as mentioned above, then you can install it manually by downloading the software update from the official download links provided below and use iTunes to manually update your iPad. You may also need to install the update using iTunes if you don’t have enough storage space on your device for the OTA update.
Before you plug in your iPad. take a moment to make sure you are using the latest version of iTunes. Click on iTunes in the menu bar and then click on Check for updates.
Once iTunes is all squared away, it’s time to turn your attention to your iPad and follow these instructions:
STEP 1: Connect your iPad to your computer using a USB cable. Wait for iTunes to open and connect to your device.
STEP 2: Click on the device button to the left of the iTunes Store button in the top right corner in iTunes.
STEP 3: Click on the Check for Update directly without using holding down on the Option key or the Shift key. If the iPadOS update is available it will automatically download and update your iPad.
STEP 4: You will get a popup message informing you the new update is available. Click on Download and Update button. At times it takes some time for the software update to be rolled out on all the servers, so if it says the older iOS version is still the latest version then download the appropriate firmware file using download links provided in step 5.
STEP 5: Skip this step if iPadOS was available in Step 3 and 4.
Download the firmware file for your device by clicking on the iPadOS IPSW Download link on your computer [Note the download file is around 2.0 GB depending on your device].
Note: If you’re downloading the firmware file using Safari then ensure that auto unzip feature is disabled or use Chrome or Firefox.

STEP 7: It will then show you the release notes for iPadOS. Click on the Next button. Then click on the Agree button for the terms and conditions.
STEP 8: iTunes will now download the firmware file (which can take a long time depending on your internet connection as it can be as big as 2.0 GB). After downloading the file, it will process it, extract the software, prepare the device for the software update, and install the update.
STEP 9: Do not disconnect your device until the update has finished. It can take a few minutes. Your device will be updated to iPadOS and reboot once or twice during the process. You will see while Hello screen after it is successfully updated. Follow the on-screen instructions to start using the device.

How to Delete Apps in iOS 13
In iOS 13, apps can be deleted from an iPhone or iPad by long-pressing on an app in the Home screen to reveal a Rearrange Apps action. Tapping this option makes all apps on the screen wiggle, while a small X appears in the corner of each icon that can be tapped to remove the app.
In iOS 13 and iPadOS, Apple has also added an additional way to delete apps from your device, right from the App Store. When you're updating apps on your device, or viewing apps that were recently updated, you can swipe left on any app in the list to bring up a Delete option.
It's a convenient way to get rid of unwanted apps as soon as you see them, without having to leave the App Store, hunt down the app's icon on your Home screen, and remove it in the traditional manner described above. Here's how it works.
Launch the App Store app on your iPhone or iPad.
Tap your account profile picture in the top-right corner of the screen.
Scroll down the Account pane to the Updated Recently section.
To remove an app that was recently updated, swipe left on it in the list and then tap the red Delete button that appears.
As you can see, in iOS 13 Apple has moved the app update interface from the tabs along the bottom of the screen to make room for its new gaming service, Apple Arcade. So whenever you want to access app updates or delete apps, tap your profile picture at the top of the App Store and scroll down to the Pending Updates/Updated Recently sections. Also Read:fastest smartphone processor

macOS 10.15 Expected to Feature Standalone Music and Podcasts Apps and Redesigned Books App
Image via 9to5Mac
The next major release of macOS will feature standalone Music and Podcasts apps alongside Apple's promised TV app coming to the Mac this fall, according to 9to5Mac's Guilherme Rambo, who has discovered icons for the apps. Rambo says he has confirmed the plans with sources familiar with the matter.
The report also claims that the existing Books app on Mac will be redesigned to look more like the Apple News app on Mac.
Like the Apple News, Home, Stocks, and Voice Memos apps on macOS Mojave, Rambo says the new Music, Podcasts, and TV apps will be built with Apple's so-called Marzipan developer tools, which allow for a single app to be designed to run across iPhone, iPad, and Mac with a similar codebase.
Despite the standalone Music and Podcasts apps, Rambo says iTunes will stick around on the next major macOS release, as it is still used for some legacy purposes like manual syncing of older iPhones, iPads, and iPods.
Apple's plans to bring UIKit-based Music, Podcasts, and possibly Books apps to the Mac were first hinted at by developer Steve Troughton-Smith on Twitter last week. Apple should unveil macOS 10.15 alongside iOS 13, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13 at WWDC 2019, which kicks off on June 3 in San Jose. Sponsor ads:

iPhone Camera not Working? Find Real Fix Here!
iPhone is without any doubt an awesome smart gadget: its unique, sleek design and advanced engineered technology set it at the top, best smartphone in the world. Unfortunately, iPhone users have complained about flaws with their iPhone/iPad cameras. The issues range from camera flash not working black screen to inability to take photos. Undisputedly, these challenges can be painful and disappointing. Interestingly, we present to you direct and straightforward steps to help you solve your iPhone camera issues easily.
Part 1. How to Fix Camera Flash not Working?
Part 2. How to Find Back the Missing HDR Button on iPhone Camera?
Part 3. How to Fix iPhone Camera Black Screen?
Part 4. How to Fix Camera App not Showing on Home Screen?
Part 5. Why Can't Camera Focus and How to Fix?
Part 6. How to Troubleshoot the "Cannot Take Photo" Error?
Part 7. Best Fix for All iPhone Camera Issues
How to Fix Camera Flash not Working?
While taking pictures in the dark, you need to turn on the flashlight. Sadly, iPhone/iPad camera flash can suddenly stop working. Well, if your camera flash stops working, the following step would be beneficial.
Step 1.Swipe up to display control center, test the LED flash by taping the flashlight icon to see if the light comes on. If it does, then the flashlight is perfectly working. If it doesn’t, simply clean the flash lens to ensure there isn’t any obstruction.
Step 2.Tap on the iPhone camera icon, click on the flashlight icon in the left corner of the screen and ensure it is “on.”
Step 3.Go to Location Service under Privacy in the Settings. Then, do not allow camera to access location by clicking “Never.”
Step 4.In a situation whereby the flash goes off due to too much heat while taking videos with the flashlight on, the flash won’t come on until the iPhone cools.
Step 5.Restart iPhone/iPad.
How to Find Back the Missing HDR Button on iPhone Camera?
The iPhone camera app is implicitly designed to allow you take regular or HDR photos. With the aid of a button, you can manually turn on or off the HDR. While this HDR button is available on iOS 12 on the iPhone 7 models and older, it’s not visible in the later versions like the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X.
iPhone 8 or 8 Plus is impressive at automatically selecting between a normal and an HDR photo. Still, there are times you’ll desire to use it yourself manually. Well, we’ve got good news for you-you can get the HDR button back on your camera app for both rear and front-facing FaceTime camera. Just follow the steps below:
Step 1.Go to settings, click on “camera,” then turn off Auto HDR.
Step 2.Go back to the camera app; you’ll see the HDR button there just like other iPhone models.
Step 3.Tap on the HDR icon to see the on and off options.
There you have it! The missing HDR is back for your use all the time, every time.
How to Fix iPhone Camera Black Screen?
It can be painful when you wholeheartedly desire to capture that interesting moment, and on clicking the camera, it shows a black screen. Even after several tries, it still happens. If that’s the case, the following steps will be useful for you:
Step 1.Carefully inspect the front and rear camera. Simply open an app to make a video call, such as Skype, Viber or WhatsApp Messenger. Observe if both cameras are working perfectly during the video calls. If it works just fine, then you are facing a software issue you can fix. If not, you will have to turn to Apple.
Step 2.Close the iPhone Camera App. Double tap the home button until the App Switcher appears, find Camera app and swipe up to close it. Then return to the home screen to open the camera app. If the screen remains dark, then the next step is needed.
Step 3.Restart your phone. Press and hold the volume down key and power button until the Apple logo appears. Your iPhone would restart, and you can confirm if the camera is working or not.
Step 4.iPhone reset settings. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Reset" > "Reset All Settings". The process won’t wipe away any files or apps but just erase your preferred setting. After that, you can open the camera app and check if it is working great.
Step 5.Factory Reset iPhone. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Reset" and choose "Erase All Content and Settings". Ensure to back up all data, and this should be the last resort because factory reset deletes all files and third-party apps too.
How to Fix Camera App not Showing on Home Screen?
If you ever find yourself in the unpleasant situation whereby your camera app goes hidden on your home screen. Just do this:
Check to ensure the camera app icon wasn’t moved to another page or a new folder. If after checking all folders and the camera app isn’t showing, then someone has restricted access to the camera app. Just go to Settings > General > Restrictions, you can un-restrict by entering your passcode. Then only turn the camera app back on from the restrictions, and it’ll appear on the Home screen again.
Why Can't Camera Focus and How to Fix?
Is your iPhone camera can’t focus and thereby making your pictures blurry and unpleasant? Here are some things you can do to fix the problem:
Step 1.When taking pictures, place your hands on the camera button for a while till the image becomes clear, then release the button. You can also keep tapping the screen for several times before taking the shot.
Step 2.Turn on and off your iPhone to fix software issues that may prevent the iPhone/iPad camera from focusing.
Step 3.Check if there is scratch on the camera lens. If there is, you can walk into any Apple store for a replacement or try using toothpaste to remove the scratch on the glass.
How to Troubleshoot the "Cannot Take Photo" Error?
If you ever get the error message “cannot take a photo,” there are two things you should do- use a third party app to take photos and free up space on your iPhone and iPads:
Step 1.Use third-party apps to take pictures. Apps like Instagram, SnapSeed, VSCO, and others can help you take a photo. It can be a temporary way to solve the not working challenge, but if there is a complaint about low memory space, you have to create more space.
Step 2.Create more iPhone storage. Tap "Settings" > "General" > "iPhone Storage", and see which apps occupy most of the phone storage. If there are apps that are not useful, uninstall them. Move photos, music, videos from iPhone to computer. Files that are not currently used can be moved to your computer to create more storage on your iPhone.

How to Export iTunes Playlist Using Drag and Drop?
How to Export iTunes Playlist Using Drag and Drop?
On the subject of transferring songs out of iTunes, song files can be selected, dragged and dropped from iTunes to a Windows OS or Mac window and copied to a destination folder, which is a much easier method. Nevertheless, the drag and drop method does not create an “M3U” playlist file format unlike the iTunes Export. The drag and drop is useful for shorter song playlists. Creating folders help to organize song files.
Below are the steps to guide on how to drag and drop iTunes playlist in to a folder.
Step 1: Click the "File" in iTunes. Then click “New” > “Playlist Folder”.
Step 2: Rename the Folder and return.
Step 3: To add items to the folder; drag and drop playlists or other folders into the new playlist folder.
To move a folder out of another folder, drag the folder towards the left edge of the iTunes window.Sponsor ads:

Top 5 Tips to Avoid iPhone Security Issues 2019
Top 5 Tips to Avoid iPhone Security Issues
To avoid some of the more major iPhone security issues, try these tips:
1 Update Often
Patches are usually released to address iPhone security issues, so make sure that your phone is updated frequently. Don't just ignore the notification.
2 Never Tell Anyone Your Passcodes or Passphrases
Needless to say, your device is only as secure as your ability to keep your passwords to yourself. It may seem quick and convenient to tell an acquaintance your passcode while he is using your iPhone, but you should probably change it afterwards if this is the case. You never really know what will happen when you give someone that kind of power.
3 Choose A Longer Passcode if Possible
Instead of a passcode, consider a passphrase. If not, choose the option for the longest passcode possible (9 digits instead of 6). Naturally, the more digits there are, the more combinations one can make, and thus the harder it would be to break into your phone by simply attempting to guess what the code is.
4 Turn off Your iPhone's Tracking
Check to make sure that apps are not tracking you. Many times we are tracked without our knowledge and our location is broadcast to the world through social media apps.
Go to “Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations” and turn it off.
5 Turn on “Find My iPhone”
This is a feature that will help you track your iPhone if it is ever lost or stolen. The downside is that if you didn't have it enabled and you find that you suddenly need it because you misplaced your device, there's not much that you can do.
Go to “Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone” and turn it on.Sponsor ads:
